Happy New Year

2011 was a very painful year in my life, I just thank that it is finally ending, renewing my hopes, but always remembering  that big expectations may cause much frustration, so let's take it easy! Wish that 2012 bring peace in our hearts, and all our dreams may come true.

"Everything Happens for a Reason"

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become.  You never know who these people may be (possibly your roommate, neighbor, teacher, fraternal brother or sister, long lost friend, lover, or even a complete stranger), but when you lock eyes with them, you know that at that very moment they will affect your life in some profound way.

And sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart.

Everything happens for a reason.  Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness, and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without the small tests, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight flat road to nowhere.  It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.

The people you meet who affect your life, and the success and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you become.  Even the bad experiences can be learned from.  In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to when you open your heart.  If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because in a way, they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things. Make every day count.

Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people that you have never talked to before, and actually listen.  Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to.  Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don’t believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you.  You can make your life anything you wish.  Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets.  Most importantly, if you love someone tell them, for you never know what tomorrow may have in store.  And finally, enjoy looking forward to learning a new lesson each day and enjoying the journey.

Sonhos deixados de lado

Mas sabe qual é o grande problema? Essas pessoas têm a mania de não lutar pelo que querem. Acham que um dia tudo vai ficar bem e as coisas vão chegar às suas mãos. O pior é quando nunca chegam e eles se conformam. “Tinha que ser assim”. Tinha que ser assim o ca**lho! Você quis assim. Você escolheu deixar aquilo que tanto queria ir embora. Você não lutou para ter. Você deixou. Sua culpa.

Qual a grande dificuldade de dar um passo atrás do que você precisa? Qual a grande dificuldade de dizer algumas palavras para ter o que tanto quer? Qual a grande dificuldade de tentar ganhar seu maior desejo? O não você já tem. Não custa nada correr atrás do sim.

Se eu pudesse, lutaria para conseguir mudar a cabeça de todas essas pessoas que não possuem força, mas não dá. Isso não é de mim. Eu tenho apenas algumas palavras para usar. Só posso controlar o que vem de dentro para fora, infelizmente. Só espero que um dia eles aprendam.

E quando se perde a fé, perde-se o sentida da vida...e se começa a dúvidar de sentimentos sublimes como o amor. E então o amor nada mais parece que algo fútil e bobo que criamos para dar um gosto doce no amargo de nossas vidas. Talvez por que esse sentimento seja o único capaz de nos fazer sentir mais humanos.

O mundo é movido por interesses, sejam quais forem, no fundo eles estão todos "camuflados" pelo o que chamamos de sentimentos,  somos guiados por eles apenas para nossa própria satisfação pessoal, nosso bem estar e felicidade. De certa forma SIM somos seres egoístas, talvez seja apenas instinto de sobrevivência, ou uma forma de afirmar nossa existência no mundo. Fato é que isso me faz sentir mais distante do próposito que acreditamos ter em nossas vidas. Menos humanos.

Sometimes we can love someone for all the wrong reasons, and still love them even after all the pain and reality because most of the time, we can’t pick who we love. Even though we know we should not love them, we do and always will, because there are just some people in our lives who will get to us for reasons we can’t explain.

O que tem de ser, tem muita força. Ninguém precisa se assustar com a distância, os afastamentos que acontecem. Tudo volta! E voltam mais bonitas, mais maduras, voltam quando tem de voltar, voltam quando é pra ser. Acontece que entre o ainda-não-é-hora e nossa-hora-chegou, muita gente se perde. Não se perca, viu?

Esclarecimento

           A melancolia de perder alguém pode durar por muito tempo, e com isso fui passando o tempo escrevendo no blog coisas relacionadas com o que eu estava sentindo, nunca pensei que doia tanto perder alguém que se ama, até porque eu nunca tinha amado antes, e nem experimentado essa sensação de ser tão intensamente amada.
          Tudo que escrevi aqui foi sempre pensando nele, e a maioria das postagens estão em inglês na esperança que um dia ele possa ler e saber da dor que ele me causou, e o quanto ainda o amo apesar de tudo. Sei que no fundo ele nunca deixou de me amar, mas a distância se tornou quase que insuportável em nossas vidas, e por isso tentei compreendê-lo de todas as formas, e aceitar sua decisão, mesmo que isso fosse difícil demais pra mim, porque sempre achei que ele estaria comigo mesmo nas situações mais difíceis, e lembro que ele me prometeu que nada mudaria o que ele sentia por mim, então vieram  as dúvidas na minha cabeça "mas se ele me amasse mesmo, ele nunca me deixaria", hoje eu compreendo suas razões, e até me culpo um pouco por elas. Sou uma menina muito difícil de lidar por causa da minha timidez mais que extremamente absurda (e não é exagero rs), e a maneira como isso afeta a minha vida social, dificultando ainda mais a nossa relação. E por isso sinto me culpada, pensando que deveria ter sido mais corajosa, ter enfrentado mais a vida, ter lutado mais para fazer nossos sonhos reais, mas sei que também não posso levar toda essa culpa sozinha, pois eu não era a única nessa "batalha" ou ele não estava comigo nessa? Sei bem que se um garoto se interessar por mim, vai ter que "ralar" muito, não me faço de difícil, sou difícil.    
          Hoje estamos "parcialmente" juntos de novo, isso por que ele tem medo te se entregar completamente e sofrer  novamente por ter que esperar tanto tempo para estarmos juntos, algo que nenhum de nós tem a certeza que irá acontecer, ao menos sei que ele sente a minha falta e ainda me ama, tirando qualquer dúvida estúpida da minha cabeça.
          Talvez essa seja uma nova chance para que façamos dar certo, quem sabe um pouco mais muduros possamos superar esse desafio que é a distância entre nós e finalmente um dia nos encontrarmos. A verdade é que nosso futuro é incerto.
